I misread it. For the ports, 4-5 months is a long time. The usual rule is to recvsup and get uptodate if you have a problem. There have been major releases since then. For example, the curent xpdf shows Port: xpdf-2.02 Path: /usr/ports/graphics/xpdf Info: Display PDF files, and convert them to other formats Maint: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Index: graphics print B-deps: XFree86-libraries-4.3.0_5 expat-1.95.6_1 fontconfig-2.2.0 freetype2-2.1.4_1 gettext-0.11.5_1 gmake-3.80 imake-4.3.0 libiconv-1.8_2 open-motif-2.2.2_1 pkgconfig-0.15.0 t1lib-5.0.0 R-deps: XFree86-libraries-4.3.0_5 expat-1.95.6_1 fontconfig-2.2.0 freetype2-2.1.4_1 imake-4.3.0 open-motif-2.2.2_1 pkgconfig-0.15.0 t1lib-5.0 In the 4-5 months, most of these have been updated. > > > If you still have kde-2 installed, your are probably better off deleting > > everything involving kde and starting from scratch.
