However, there are means to run the PPC version of FreeBSD on some Apple hardware, as well as it's maybe possible to run FreeBSD's x86 version on some x86 Macs. However, it should be possible to use VirtualBSD within a virtualisation environment (i. e. in a VM) on Mac OS X and other operating systems.
