        # mount -t msdos -o rw /dev/fd0 /mnt
That's a bit much to type, and constant su-ing is a pain in the tuchis,
so I use a bash alias.
        alias monterfd='sudo mount -t msdos -o rw /dev/fd0 /mnt'
I type
        $ monterfd
and my password, and the fd is mounted.
