Certainly. If you replace the disk, disk controller, and cable, the errors will certainly go away. Doing one of those would be enough, but I have no way to know which piece of hardware is causing the problem. I recommend starting by just reseating the cable; in my experience, this often clears up ATA bus problems. > Another question; > What does it mean if after a Connection attempt I see: flags:0x02 Where do you see that?
