My local cvs-mirror only has docs, src, ports, and www. It is 2.0 GB. Of that, 1.2 GB is src. The ports are 598 MB. The docs are also necessary and were only 153 MB. The www was something that was more trouble to turn off than to let the cvsupd script set it up.
