Typical of the computing industry not to be able to standardise ;) The jury is still out on which is the best. If you're desparate for a DVD writer now, probably your best bet is to get a drive which can write to both standards. There are some Sony drives that can do this, which I've seen recommended, amongst others. - -- Cheers, Chris Howells -- [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP ID: 0x33795A2C KDE/Qt/C++/PHP Developer: http://www.kde.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/u06oF8Iu1zN5WiwRAho9AJ4vIwc7gog4+PF64mNNfiyewgzaJQCgj9Kw i3ag8o/1AcZ7Lqib5CbDJog= =Epc7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
