Hi, I have a onboard soundcard with a sis 7012 soundchipset. I have compiled the kernel with the pcm device-driver and the chipset gets recogniced as you can see at the dmesg output:
pcm0: <SiS 7012> port 0xd800-0xd87f,0xdc00-0xdcff irq 18 at device 2.7 on pci0 pcm0: <C-Media Electronics CMI9739 AC97 Codec> I get sound but can't control the volume. I can turn the volume off or on, but that all I can do. Has anyone an Idea what the problem is?
