you should install cvsup, and update your entire source branch, install it from ports and have a look at the /usr/share/examples/cvsup files. then go to /usr/src/usr.bin/script and make && make install, If it isn't a freebsd patch perhaps fetching the patch into /usr/src/usr.bin/script and applying it with patch -p0 < patchfile can help.
