You have it on your system:
All ../bin  and ../sbin directories contain executable commands.
I guess the ones you are looking for can be found in
/bin            /sbin
/usr/bin        /usr/sbin
/usr/local/bin  /usr/local/sbin
/usr/X11R6/bin  /usr/X11R6/sbin
some more directories might be found in your path.

Docs for most of these commands can be found with
# man <command>
and
# info <command>
