Hello all,

I have been trying to install jdk14 on a machine with freebsd 5.2.1-release, but it just doesn't work. While compiling it gives this error

quote:Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location
^
2 errors
gmake[4]: *** [.compile.classlist] Error 1

    Stop in /usr/ports/java/jdk14.

$ pkg_info |grep linux_base
linux_base-8-8.0_4 Base set of packages needed in Linux mode (only for i386

I did a deinstall and make install in /usr/ports/java/linux-sun-jdk14/

and a

kldload linprocfs

mount -t linprocfs linprocfs /compat/linux/proc

and tried agaain, to no avail.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!
