Dear Manuel, I've run into similar issues with KDE in the past. You were on the right track, but apparently the one file konquerorrc wasn't the problem. Just delete the entire ~/.kde and then restart KDE. You will then be treated like a new user, and KDE will query for the usual desktop settings (language, theme, etc). That does mean, of course, that you'll lose any customized settings you've already made, but that should be no big deal.
