Restart apache and make sure that the mysql extension is being loaded inActually--if you're using a new php port, you have to comment out the extension directive in /usr/local/etc/php.ini and make sure it's enabled in /usr/local/etc/php/extensions.ini :-/ (I just went through this last night)
the php.ini file (phpinfo() gives you the path to php.ini, use the
extension directive to tell php to load a module).
