I'm also having to update ports as I'm finding some stuff no longer works.
Yeah, there were some major changes between 5.1 and 5.3 that will break a lot of ports. I'd recommend recompiling everything actually (ports). Just switching from 5.2.1 to 5.3 beta required that i rebuild gnome to get it to work smoothly. _______________________________________________
