I have an Athlon 64 3000+ and GeForce FX5700 running FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE (i386). I get only 2200 fps for glxgears. Anyone else getting similar values. When I start X, I also get a kernele message with the following text, NVRM: AGP cannot be enabled on this combination of the AMD CPU and OS kernel NVRM: kernel upgrade recommended. NVRM: AGP cannot be enabled on this combination of the AMD CPU and OS kernel NVRM: kernel upgrade recommended. I don't think it is running on s/w, since I am able to play Doom 3 on this system.
