I created the gif0 device with ifconfig, but I can't seem to find a way to "save" it so that I don't have to recreate it at boot time. Any ideas?
It's reasonable to put the right commands into an /etc/rc.local, or use /etc/rc.conf's mechanisms to put commands in a /etc/start_if.gif0.
