Piggy-backing on the Subject: line ....

I recently upgraded perl per the entry in /usr/ports/UPDATING.
Afterwards, gtk-gnutalla is broken. Run from the command line,
I get a whole slew of messages like this:

05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): hostiles.txt, line 243: rejected entry
"208.209.2.111" (208.209.2.111/32): Range is subnet of existing range
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): hostiles.txt, line 244: rejected entry
"208.209.2.112" (208.209.2.112/32): Range is subnet of existing range
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): hostiles.txt, line 245: rejected entry
"208.209.2.113" (208.209.2.113/32): Range is subnet of existing range
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): hostiles.txt, line 248: rejected entry
"208.229.253.49" (208.229.253.49/32): Range is subnet of existing range
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): hostiles.txt, line 251: rejected entry
"208.50.66.224/255.255.255.224" (208.50.66.224/27): Range is subnet of existing
range

        and then some like this:

05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): [Bogus IP addresses] trying to load from alternate
locations...
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): [Bogus IP addresses] retrieving from
"/usr/X11R6/share/gtk-gnutella/bogons.txt" instead
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): [Geographic IP mappings] trying to load from
alternate locations...
05/02/13 17:19:58 (WARNING): [Geographic IP mappings] retrieving from
"/usr/X11R6/share/gtk-gnutella/geo-ip.txt" instead

        and then about here:

05/02/13 17:19:59 (WARNING): [Host Whitelist] unable to retrieve: no alternate
locations known

the GUI flashes and disappears, and then it starts looking for
files to share.

Anybody have a clue as to what's busted?

                                                Robert Huff
