Thanks Lars !

I'm doing something like this, in my .xinitrc, as I start the X
from the command line using 'startx':

/usr/bin/ssh-agent "/usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker"

Then in the xterm I just type ssh-add and every consecutive xterm
can use ssh without prompting for the password.
