If you have a wireless-AP you can hook that directly into a standard PCI nic on the BSD machine. I have a similar setup where I'm at. I'm letting the BSD do dhcp/firewall/nat/router/dns for each of my LANs. The AP is doing WEP but for added security I have an encrypted VPN for the wireless LAN with the BSD box doing IPSec for that.
