Here you are. Your /usr partition has no free i-nodes. Probably
because you used too large block/fragment sizes when it was newfs'd.
You have two options, both of which involve a reinstallation:
a) Resplit the disk giving more space to /usr.
b) Use a single, big root partition.
One possible layout, if you choose (a) could be:
Filesystem Size Mount-point Other
/dev/ad0s1a 100-200 MB / -
/dev/ad0s1b ??? MB - (swap, tmpfs)
/dev/ad0s1e 200-300 MB /var -
/dev/ad0s1f rest /usr the rest of the
disk
You can then use /usr/home for the home directories of users, and
have
most of your space in /usr (where it is needed).
Maybe you could do 100-200MB for / and /var. Here is my system:
$ df -h
