On September 30, 2014, FreeBSD 9.2 will reach its End of Life

A tight timesecale to force business users to upgrade. 9.2 is the
main release today (8.4 old, & 10.0 risky) 9.3 not even released
just RC3. Northern hemisphere is 3 weeks off August when some whole
countries (eg .fr) virtually close down on holiday, & others don't
get much done 'till after 1st week in Sept. Slip 9.2 EOL one month
to 31st Oct. & it'll give many business sys admins a much better window.

Valid arguments and +1m slip should not harm Security Officer so much.

On the other side, business users, especially holiday sensitive users, could consider not to install releases with non-extended lifetime in the future ...

System with extended lifetime will give them more freedom ...
