Every GPT partition have unique /dev/gptid/<uuid>, you can find it out with:
glabel status
and instead of using e.x.:
zpool create tank mirror ad4p3 ad6p3
you can use:
zpool create tank mirror
gptid/0f32d2e6-c227-11de-8d6c-001708386b68
gptid/bc78a46e-c227-11de-8d6c-001708386b68
and you can swap disk without worries
