Just trying out a MB that has an integrated ale nic and was looking at some of the many stats available. The last one,
dev.ale.0.stats.tx.trunc_errs: Truncated frames due to MTU size

doesnt seem to make sense. The nic's MTU is set to 1500. What would be generating traffic locally that would have an MTU size that is too big ? or is the counter perhaps recording something else ?
