What do you mean by "not recognized"? Doesn't above tells opposite?

Well, the "(Unknown)" string is a bit of a worry; but the big source of
disappointment is that there's no sound :(

Unknown there means that driver doesn't know this specific CODEC ID. In most cases it is not a problem. In this case any way I don't have ane feedback yet about DisplayPort support and especially NVidia one.

Most interesting here as I understand are analog outputs. driver detected two different and it would bi nice if you tested all combinations of devices and outputs and reported what exactly is not working.

It would be useful if you posted somewhere full _verbose_ dmesg.
