Yes, I also once searched for sysrc and had appreciated references in some other man pages ... Therefore, I've just added those references to rc.8 and rc.conf.5, as you suggested. I forgot to set a MFC reminder, but I'll see that these references are merged to 10 and 11 before the end of the month.
