This is really a [EMAIL PROTECTED] type question; however...
long story short, from RELNOTES.TXT:
syslogd(8) now supports a "LOG_CONSOLE" facility (disabled by
default), which can be used to log /dev/console output.
added to -stable on Jan. 9th (and will be available in the
upcoming 4.3-RELEASE).
see a recent etc/syslog.conf for implementation details
