I'm not sure exaclty who this should go to, but it sounds like if its 
a bug we want to fix it before -RELEASE

The Postfix watchdog timer is supposed to go off after $daemon_timeout
seconds, which is several hours by default.

I suspect a FreeBSD 4.4-PRERELEASE bug.
