SEPTEMBER 11-HOW DID IT AFFECT YOU?

You may have read in the press that a group of individuals in the Church of England
are leading an international survey to assess the change in people's moral and
religious attitudes in the light of the terrorist attacks of 11th September 2001.

For this survey to be accurate we need to hear the views of the general public from as
many countries as possible. We would be most grateful therefore if you could either
spend a few moments answering the following questions yourself or pass these questions
on to someone you know might be willing to do so. This may seem an unusual request,
however, this research will only be of value if as many people as possible are made
aware of it and discuss it. Genuine replies only please.

- Has September 11th changed your outlook on life?
- Are you now more or less materialistic?
- More or less family orientated?
- Are you thinking more about spiritual matters and trying to find out about God?
- Are you more or less confident about the future?
- Have your views been changed by the idea suggested by some church congregations that
these events in some way fulfilled prophecy found in Revelation Chapter 18, as first
observed the next day by the Canadian newspaper The Toronto Sun?

This newspaper pictured the devastation along with words from ch 18 down one side. (
For those who don't know - Revelation 18 talks about the fall of an 'economic' kind of
Babylon, or stronghold; v 2 states 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen' - which
some are saying refers to there being two towers which would suffer disaster. V 10
describes destruction 'coming in one hour' - v 17 adds 'in one hour such great riches
come to nothing'. In v 8 it says it will be 'burned by fire' and vs 9 and 17 says
people 'will weep as they see the smoke of burning and will watch at a distance.' V11
states that 'the merchants of the whole earth will weep because no one buys her
merchandise any more' and lists the kinds of products, including oil, that would no
longer be traded through her. V 17 adds that those who trade on the world's oceans
would be affected and v19 mentions people being covered in dust).

If you've heard this idea already, when did you first hear this being discussed and by
whom?

If it's new to you, do you find these similarities with Rev 18 comforting or
disturbing?

Does it change your view on Christianity?

A brief analysis of those responses already received from Churches, groups and
individuals around the world shows that whether or not they believe there is any link
with Rev 18 many nevertheless regard it as an event of major prophetic significance
with regard to a build up to Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ to restore
peace.

Do you agree with this view?

Or do you agree with the view held by a minority of people (so far) that September
11th is nothing more than one event amongst many of man's inhumanity to man and is of
no greater significance than say the atrocities of the Second World War?

Please let us have your views on what is becoming one of the most fascinating surveys
ever conducted. We also want to hear from anyone who claims they had a "forewarning"
or "premonition" that something was about to occur - so far around 20% of those who
have contacted us claim they had a premonition that something of significance was
about to happen and one pastor who had visited New York in the summer of 2001 actually
wrote in his August 2001 church newsletter, that on his visit he had had a vision of
the "Twin Towers" engulfed in flames .Confidentiality is assured.

Please e-mail us or write to "September Survey Team" at the address above. A general
analysis of the results will be published on
http://www.bible-questions-answered.co.uk/ in the coming months. Thank you for your
time.

Yours sincerely,

The September Survey Team.UK.
