Hi,
According to www.hp.com nx6110 has a synaptics touchpad. I have tried
with an Ubuntu Live CD and detected correctly:
mice: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice
Synaptic Touchpad, model: 1
Firmware: 6.2
Sensor: 37
new absolute packet format
Touchpad has extended capability bits
-> multifinger detection
-> palm detection
-> pass-through port
input: SysPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad on isa0060/serio4
serio: Synaptics passthrough port at isa0060/serio4/input6
ts: Compaq touchscreen protocol output
Under FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE it is detected as IntelliMouse even if I
set hw.psm.synaptics_support=1:
On my Dell (FreeBSD 6.1-PRE) I do not set hw.psm.synaptics_support...
but I do set hint.psm.0.flags="0x1000" in my device.hints. And my
synaptics touchpad works.
Might be worth a try.
psm0: unable to allocate IRQ

psm0: <PS/2 Mouse> irq 12 on atkbdc0
ioapic0: routing intpin 12 (ISA IRQ 12) to vector 60
psm0: [GIANT-LOCKED]
psm0: model IntelliMouse, device ID 3-00, 3 buttons
psm0: config:00000000, flags:00000008, packet size:4
psm0: syncmask:08, syncbits:00
Is there any solution for this problem?
Best, Laci
