I have one with a Prolific PL-2303 chipset: ucom0: Prolific Technology Inc. USB-Serial Controller, rev 1.10/3.00, addr 5 It works great for standard serial communication, but not for what I want to use it for : read 'ticks' from my geiger counter. A 'normal' 16550A serial port chip does that just fine. regards, Hans Lambermont _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
