That would have been my next step. I ran only rpcbind, nfsd and mountd on the file server (no rpc.lockd/rpc.statd). I then had an OS/2 Client mount the filesystem, issue a readdir and then tried to mount the same share from an Linux client. This last mount request never came back, immediately after issueing the mount request the mountd got stuck in state 'ufs' as shown in the backtrace.
