I just dug out a spare switch (god knows why the hub was still in place) and it works fine with that. I then tried the 6.1 system with the switch and it worked (duh) but when I went to switch back to the hub it wouldn't work.. I don't know how the 6.1 box worked with the hub since I can't get it to work now, perhaps the hub is busted. So, in conclusion, I think bge(4) is OK :) -- Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software - http://www.gsoft.com.au "The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from." -- Andrew Tanenbaum GPG Fingerprint - 5596 B766 97C0 0E94 4347 295E E593 DC20 7B3F CE8C
