Hi all,

running 6.1-RELEASE on several HP DL385 servers (identically configured), one of them has recently spat the following out in the / var/log/messages file:

..........
Mar 10 03:51:24 apphost02 ntpd[445]: kernel time sync enabled 2001
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: NMI ISA 30, EISA ff
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: k
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: NMIN MIIe SIASA 202r,0 ,E IESIAS A ffnf
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: f
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel:
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: el trap 19 with interrupts disabled
Mar 10 05:02:01 apphost02 kernel: NMI ISA 20, EISA ff
Mar 10 06:08:01 apphost02 ntpd[445]: kernel time sync enabled 6001
..........

NMI = non-maskable interrupt, if I remember correctly. However, I have no idea what this means or why it appeared. The status light on the front of the server has lit up red, as opposed to the usual green. All services on the host are running and behaving normally from what I can tell.

Any input, anyone?

Thanks,
/Eirik
