Serial is working and now I can start working on the main problem :)
So it's not acpi problem, but instead problem with sio?

So it appears.

I have been using uart by default on a number of boards in RELENG_6 for a while now, I have had far better luck with it than sio. Especially for dialup applications, sio always seems to have overflow issues as opposed to uart
