Can you try the attached patches for ports/x11-servers/xorg-server?
Just drop them in files directory, rebuild, reinstall, etc...

I'm running RELENG_7 built the day before yesterday with SCHED_ULE. Your patch
doesn't improve anything for me. The system still locks up entirely while the
mouse is not in movement.
Only not using moused helps.
