Why, no. ia64 is for the Itanium processor line which uses a different architecture and is not compatible with the standard x86 32- bit or 64-bit platforms. What you want instead is the amd64 platform, which is known as "EM64T" for the Intel Xeon/P4/Core/Core2 chips:
