It is some time since the USB p4 tree was integrated with HEAD. I don't know
if that is the reason "em" and "X11" is not working.
Could you also try to checkout HEAD, then install the driver from SVN:
svn --username anonsvn --password anonsvn \
checkout svn://svn.turbocat.net/i4b
