Probably an IOCTL on the uscanner0 is : broken, and the fallback to libusb backend will maybe solve your problem : temporarily if you rm /dev/uscanner0 .
Can't do it. devel/libusb is broken. Been there tried that: Didn't work. I do know that it has *NEVER* found the device when I don't have uscanner loaded, even when ugen was loaded... : Actually that is another question: : : Should we remove ID's from uscanner.c which will work fine attaching through : the libusb backend ? Unlikely, given my experience that it appears to be required... Anyway, it is going to be at least a week before I can do anything on this again because the scanner is at home right now, and I'm in the airport waiting for my flight to AsiaBSDCon 2009...
