I have seen a similar issue on my x61s Thinkpad while following the 8.0x releases. The behaviour has changed throughout the releases. On my latest test (on FreeBSD 8.0-PRERELEASE #2: i386), I found this issue only occurs if I suspend the system while no usb modules are loaded. On a resume, if one then loads the usb modules (such as umass ehci uhci), usb does not work. My current workaround is to ensure I load the modules I need before the first suspend. A resume in this case does keep the usb ports 'active'. I'll report back if i notice any change in 8.0-Release. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-usb To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
