There might be a regression in the if_axe driver: http://email@example.com/msg08211.html
The described bandwidth problem seems to appear in some hardware setups. For example, when an adapter is connected to a nearby LAN switch via a short cable, it works days at full speed without infamous freezes. However, when the adapter is used as a WAN interface (long cable towards unknown ISP hardware), it shows a crippled bandwidth, and ifconfig may report OACTIVE flag on ue0. I am using FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE with 8.2-STABLE kernel (17 Apr 2011) _______________________________________________ firstname.lastname@example.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-usb To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-usb-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
