Seems one of the author suggested a fix.

USB_QUIRK_VP(0x13fe, 0x2240, 0x0000, 0xffff, UQ_MSC_NO_SYNC_CACHE),

Any other workarounds you could suggest that would not require me to recompile? I am using nas4free embedded.

Drive is zfs formatted and seems to work without losing data. This issues
