me...@bris.ac.uk changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |me...@bris.ac.uk --- Comment #4 from me...@bris.ac.uk --- I can reproduce this on 10.3-RC1 #0 r296435: Sun Mar 6 23:48:14 GMT 2016 urtwn0: <vendor 0x0bda product 0x8191, class 0/0, rev 2.00/2.00, addr 1> on usbus0 urtwn0: MAC/BB RTL8188CUS, RF 6052 1T1R # ifconfig urtwn0 urtwn0: flags=8802<BROADCAST,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 2290 ether ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff nd6 options=29<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED,AUTO_LINKLOCAL> media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect (autoselect) status: no carrier The device was working fine on 11-current. I switched to 10.2-RELEASE last Friday, 4-MAR, the device was still *working*, I think. Then it stopped. Perhaps there is some misconfig or clash. Does this look ok? # cat /boot/loader.conf kern.vty=vt if_urtwn_load="YES" legal.realtek.license_ack=1 urtwn-rtl8192cfwT_load="YES" linux_load="YES" cuse4bsd_load="YES" geom_bde_load="YES" I then updated to 10.3 and now I cannot make it work.
