I'm having a problem with USB on my AMD Threadripper system running 13-CURRENT. The main devices I have attached are a TRENDnet KVM switch (attached to that are a das keyboard and a Logitech mouse), and a couple of Sabrent USB 3 hubs.
After a while, dmesg starts slowly filling with "usb_dev_resume_peer: Resuming port failed". I've currently got "hw.usb.xhci.use_polling=1" set, which I think I needed for a different issue. I've uploaded the boot dmesg to https://bex.dev/freebsd/dmesg.boot-threadripper.txt The system is running: FreeBSD photon.int.bluestop.org 13.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 13.0-CURRENT #0 261295ba4c8-c255324(main): Fri Dec 25 11:38:43 MST 2020 bc...@photon.int.bluestop.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/amd64.amd64/sys/GENERIC-NODEBUG amd64 "usbconfig" reports: ugen4.1: <0x1022 XHCI root HUB> at usbus4, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen1.1: <0x1b21 XHCI root HUB> at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen2.1: <0x1002 XHCI root HUB> at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen3.1: <0x1022 XHCI root HUB> at usbus3, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen0.1: <0x1022 XHCI root HUB> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen4.2: <Generic 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub> at usbus4, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen3.2: <vendor 0x05e3 USB2.0 Hub> at usbus3, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE (100mA) ugen0.2: <AsusTek Computer Inc.
