Good evening,

After getting my machines up and running thanks to earlier help I have noticed
some odd behaviour.

When I run a machine as:

/usr/sbin/bhyve -c 1 -m 512 -A -I -H -P -s 0:0,hostbridge -s
2:0,virtio-net,tap0,mac=52:54:00:88:44:08 -s
3:0,virtio-net,tap0,mac=52:54:00:42:8f:c1 -s
4:0,ahci-hd,/var/lib/libvirt/images/pheles0.img -s 1,lpc -l com1,/dev/nmdm1A
pheles

Networking does not work at all (Traffic is not seen on the bridge devices)

When I run it as:

/usr/sbin/bhyve -c 1 -m 512 -A -I -H -P -s 0:0,hostbridge -s
2:0,virtio-net,tap0,mac=52:54:00:88:44:08 -s
4:0,ahci-hd,/var/lib/libvirt/images/pheles0.img -s 1,lpc -l com1,/dev/nmdm1A
pheles

Networking works correctly. IE A single device of virtio net is the only
configuration of bhyve that appears to work.

Is this a known limitation? Or is this a bug?

Again, I am offlist, so please include me in replies.

William Brown
