Yes, you mount it the same way as a cdrom image:

mdconfig -a -t vnode -f /path/to/image

then: mount -t <filesystem type> /dev/md0p1 /mnt

note that depending on your partitioning scheme, the exact device name
will different. md0p1 is the first GPT partition, it might be MBR
instead, which would be md0s1, etc.
