I have Ralink based usb wifi (WLI-UC-GNM) like http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a220m.1000858.1000725.15.3wfRJm&id=9672376 635&user_id=667433668&is_b=1&cat_id=2&q=buffalo+usb&rn=827b20043c8cb505bf428bbc 70d5a4c8 if_run in head should support it if I'm not mistaken and good thing is it supports AP mode. But I didn't test it yet on Cubieboard.
