Hi all,
I'm running an APU-2 SoC with FreeBSD 12 stable and an Intel Wireless WiFi Link
4965 micro PCI card.
/boot/loader.conf has the following lines:
if_iwn_load="YES"
iwn4965fw_load="YES"
When creating and upping the wifi device with ifconfig, I'm getting the
following messags in dmesg:
iwn0: <Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965> mem 0xfe500000-0xfe501fff at device
0.0 on pci1
[...]
iwn0: timeout reading ROM at 0x48
[...]
iwn0: timeout reading ROM at 0xe9
iwn0: iwn_read_firmware: ucode rev=0xe43d0218
iwn0: iwn_send_rxon: could not set TX power, error 22
iwn0: iwn_config: could not send RXON
iwn0: iwn_init_locked: could not configure device, error 22
The adapter doesn't work. Switching channels doesn't work:
# ifconfig wlan0 channel 6
ifconfig: unknown/undefined channel number 6 flags 0x0
Scanning for access points doesn't work.
Any ideas/hints?
