Try the xe-guest-utilities which uses xen-tools. You may have to hack
/usr/local/sbin/xe-update-guest-attrs near the bottom to provide a

I installed the xe-guest-utilities port, and ran up /usr/local/etc/rc.d/xenguest.

Without changing anything - XenServer has now 'lit' the 'Suspend' options - and will let me take snapshots, 'including memory' - so I'd guess it's worked,
