IMHO, then the correct fix is to accept 0xffff as a valid checksum (which is
the value set by netfront and other drivers when the checksum is offloaded).

Or else fix bpf to generate the correct checksum for offloaded packets that are
passed on that interface if there's no way to tell the users if the checksum
has been offloaded or not.

Can you give a spin to the patch I've attached also?
