FYI. Não sei se é novidade na lista...
Para quem procura uma ferramenta para interface
administrativa para servidores (alternativa ao Webmin),
pode ser uma boa, quando estiver 'stable'.
OffMyServer, Inc. launches the RAQdevil open-source website in
September, 2005. RAQdevil is an open-source web control panel based upon
the source code of the Sun Cobalt RaQ550 web hosting appliance. RAQdevil
runs on FreeBSD, a solid, stable, production-quality operating system.
The code port was sponsored by OffMyServer and performed by Devon H.
O'Dell, Suleiman Souhlal, and Doug White.
We are currently looking for people to test the RAQdevil software,
submit bug reports (and patches!), and to help contribute functional
modules, enhancing the effectiveness and usability of RAQdevil.
What is RAQdevil?
RAQdevil is a web control panel application, developed by OffMyServer
and based upon the Sun Cobalt RaQ550 software. Sun released the code for
the RaQ under a BSD-style license in December of 2003 and the code was
then ported to Fedora Linux by the BlueQuartz project.
The RAQdevil is software that provides web based management of multiple
aspects of a server. RAQdevil manages system users, web sites, email,
DNS, and other common server components used for web hosting.
The RAQdevil project differs from BlueQuartz in several ways. Perhaps
the most noticable is that RAQdevil is designed to run on FreeBSD, the
operating system widely acknowledged as the most stable and secure
operating system for x86 servers.
The RAQdevil project focuses on creating a welcoming community to extend
functionality of the software and have a clear list of goals which we
would like to see accomplished for the project (many of these can be
found on the Help Wanted page).
