O driver Marvell Yukon vc consegue do proprio fabricando um pacote 
binario pronto, como modulo do kernel para instalar no seu FreeBSD 6.x...
Mas se for o caso e quiser um nativo, migre para o current (meu notebook 
usa e eu resolvi migrar: Tecra A4 S211) e está funcionando OK, mas tenho 
problemas de ACPI nele!

Já o atheros infelizmente nao posso ajudar...
